and S-PLUS) to fit a variety of regression models not covered in the text.
These are generally brief presentations, and at a relatively advanced level
(comparable to starred sections in the text). A general reference for most
of these topics is Fox,
Applied Regression, Linear Models, and Related Methods,
Sage, 1997; other references are given in the various appendices.
